Imaging biomarkers have helped to advance drug development and one of the areas that has seen the greatest impact from imaging biomarkers has been in the advancement of therapeutics for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). This presentation reviews the use of imaging biomarkers and then highlights their use in RA drug studies. These slides were presented as a virtual meeting of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) MR in Drug Research Study Group in April 2018.
